Last month we viewed a ANA presentation on Ancient Coins along with a display by Phil of his group of Roman coins. just enough to generate a little interest in collecting ancient coins and an overview of where to start.

This month we are doing a field trip! I have managed to arrange for the Hemet Museum to open, just for us, during our regular meeting time. There will be a Do- cent available for any questions about the items displayed at the museum and Hemet history. I did a quick tour last week and there is a lot of history and artifacts packed into the museum, not to mention that the museum itself is the second train depot built in Hemet! The museum is located at the Northwest corner of Florida and State Str. at 100 W. Florida Ave. There is parking in the front and back. We will meet there at our usual club meeting time of 1:30 on 20 Mar. although the Docent said she would open the doors for us around 1:00 for any early birds. See you there!
