Our 2021 dues to ANA are paid in full and we have a club membership card.

We received a number DVD’s from Mike Turrini, President of CSNA and I recently was able to purchase a used video projector which may be optimum for showing them! I’ll see when I receive the remote control I ordered.

Club Business A phone conference meeting was held on 20 January 2021. We took the time to conduct some club business during last months phone meeting.

We voted to approve and submit nominations of Don Kagin and Clifford Mischler for positions on the ANA Board of Governors. I prepared the submissions and mailed them. Individual members of the ANA may vote for the nominees for the Board of Governors in the upcoming election.

While it was actually discussed and voted on during the January meeting, club dues for 2021 are suspended pending our being able to meet in person. We currently have a bank balance of approx. $700, and with virtually no bills until we do in-person meeting, it was decided that this was the most equitable course of action.

We renewed our ANA membership for 2021. They continue to provide excellent on-line educational seminars and we receive the “Numismatist” every month.

I discussed the need to start using a new program to publish and maintain our website. I maintain 3 websites currently, including “Hemetcoinclub.com”. Our old program is no longer supported by its parent company and if it fails there would be no practical way to update our site. I have already purchased a new, supported, program and have already replaced 1 of my sites, using it as a means of becoming familiar with using it. I am slowly moving the information from the old Hemet website to the new format and when I have it all transferred will publish it on-line. The cost of the new program is $120, which allows me to publish unlimited sites and transfer the program use to another computer if needed. My other 2 sites are NASC sites and I intend to split the cost 3 ways. I will make a motion for reimbursement when we are able to meet in person.
